The Head of Field Marketing Role (Individual Contributor role)

 

  • As the head of Field Marketing-India and acting as the Principal Field Marketing Manager (IC role), you will be driving the partnership with the local Sales leadership team to translate business objectives into an efficient and effective integrated marketing plan aligned with GTM (direct & indirect business)
  • Acting as a strategic partner, you will be collaborating with partners/BDR/Sales and cross -functional marketing teams to identify gaps and opportunities to build Qlik brand equity (full portfolio) as well as drive pipeline and revenue growth.

 

We are looking for candidates who have held a similar role for at least last 5+ years as head of field marketing in a MNC or a global organization and with overall 15+ years of specialized experience in this space.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

 

Understand your market and drive marketing strategies :

  • You’ll oversee the extension of global marketing activities into India market, providing opportunities to connect and further engage with prospects and customers in the region.
  • You’ll execute a variety of marketing programs and activities including cross sell/upsell campaigns, deal acceleration, acquisition campaigns, and events/webinars.
  • You’ll leverage our Tech Alliances and Global System Integrators partners to gain new audiences and expand our reach
  • You’ll support our focus partners (re-sellers) to generate revenue by managing MDF budget and set up co-marketing efforts aligned to specific GTMs 
  • You’ll measure marketing impact and evaluate event/campaign performance in order to drive continuous improvement and improve the overall effectiveness of marketing 

 

Own the holistic pipeline management :

  • You will actively participate to regular pipeline reviews with key stakeholders and drives actions
  • You will Implement data driven environment to drive sales conversations and take informed decisions on budget investment on marketing programs (including MDF) along with the customer journey.

 

Be the voice of field and marketing :

  • You’ll provide direction into global marketing functions to influence centralized plans and execution
  • You’ll ensure that field has a full understanding and visibility on all marketing programs and how it will support the local business objectives

 

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 

  • At least 15+ years of marketing experience, specifically with a background in B2B Field Marketing in India.
    • Ideally 17+ years of overall experience and capable of heading the entire function acting as the single point of contact
    • 10+ years of experience focused on leadership level conversations and driving the business and proven experience in growing the market.
  • Deep understanding of how to build, deliver and optimize marketing plans, with a focus on driving results and business impact 
  • Data driven marketer who is digital savvy and understands today’s marketing landscape 
  • Ability to work effectively in a distributed team / matrixed environment – proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive a project or program to success 
  • Enterprise software, BI or SaaS experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, or equivalent experience 
  • Partner marketing experience
  • Knowledge of marketing technologies such as SalesForce.com, Marketo, ON24, social platforms such as LinkedIn, and Microsoft office  
  • Intent data (6Sense will be a plus) expert
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment is extremely important, particularly an entrepreneurial attitude and the ability to thrive in an environment of change and ambiguity 
  • Experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders to drive a project or program to success
  • Have end-to-end, hands-on approach to marketing activities and programs
  • Ability to travel as needed – up to 25% (Within India)

 

 

The location for this role is:

 

  • Mumbai-India 
  • The role will primarily involve travel within India as required for business reasons
